Nothing inventedWritten from your experience alone

A smarter, faster way
to write cover letters.

Most people send the same letter to every employer, because writing a new one each time takes an evening.

Written for the role, not from a template

You bring the experience. We put it into words that answer the advert in front of you.

It isn't a template with your name dropped in. Each letter is built from your own CV and that job's requirements, so the hiring team sees the connection without reading your CV twice.

Minutes, not a whole evening

Writing a fresh letter for every application is the reason most people stop writing them at all.

You get a first draft in under a minute, so your time goes on the wording that matters instead of on a blank page.

Send a stronger application

Your CV lists what you've done. The letter says why it fits this job, and that's the part a hiring manager remembers.

You get a draft in your own voice that stays inside your real experience, so you're editing it rather than inventing anything.

Five ways to create
your cover letter.

Only the first needs a job advert. The other four produce a general letter you can send to any employer.

Registered Nurse

Riverbank Hospital

Dear Hiring Manager,

I'm writing to apply for the Staff Nurse position at Riverbank Hospital. Your advert asks for patient observations and wound care, which is what I've been doing day to day.

I care for a bay of six post-operative patients across twelve hour shifts. I also run the medication round, and I mentor student nurses on placement.

The rest of what the advert asks for is on my CV too: infection control, care plans and NMC registration.

I'd welcome the chance to talk this through. You can reach me on +44 7700 900412 or at aoife.k@example.com.

Kind regards,
Aoife Kelleher

Left out: paediatric experience. The advert asked for it, Aoife hasn't done it, so it isn't in the letter.

How it works

Four steps, about a minute from start to download.

  1. 1

    Add your experience

Upload a CV, pick one you saved here, use your profile, or type a few lines. That is the only thing your letter can draw on.

  2. 2

Add the job, or skip it

Paste the advert and the letter is written around what that employer asked for. No advert, and you get a general letter you can send anywhere.

  3. 3

    Read what comes back

One page, in the order a hiring manager reads it. Anything you could not back up is listed beside the letter instead of written into it.

  4. 4

    Edit it, then download

Change any wording you like, then save it as a PDF or a Word file, ready to attach.

FAQ

Questions
people ask

The short answers, before you start.

Does it make things up?

No. It only uses your CV, or the few lines you typed. If the job asks for something you haven't done, it leaves that out of the letter and shows it to you beside it, so you can see what the employer wanted.

Does my CV get uploaded anywhere?

Your CV is used to write your letter and nothing else. You decide what gets saved to your account, and you can delete it whenever you like.

What if I don't have a CV with me?

Just write a few lines in the box instead. What you do, roughly how long you've done it, and one thing you're proud of. That's enough to get a letter worth editing.

Which jobs does it work for?

Office jobs, and the ones most tools ignore too: nursing, driving, hospitality, retail, security, construction and trades. It knows the words those adverts use, like a licence, a shift pattern or ward experience.

Can I use it for a job in another country?

Yes. The letter follows whatever the advert asks for, wherever the job is. Nothing in it is tied to one country.

Write your cover letter now.

It takes about a minute, and you will see exactly what it left out before you send anything.
